A Busted Beauty with a Purpose.

From homelessness to hope — a journey of restoration, learning, and community-building.

This isn’t just a bus project. It’s a testimony in progress — a commitment to grow in shrewdness, steward what God provides, and use my hands to rebuild not only a vehicle, but a vision.

From Homelessness to Hope

A few years ago, I experienced the difficult reality of homelessness. With the help of the VA, veteran programs, and my local community, I began to heal and rebuild my life. Determined never to return to that situation, I also wanted to develop practical, hands-on skills and interact with life in a way that went beyond academic knowledge.

So… I bought a bus.

I call it Bus-Ted — a busted beauty with a lot of potential. While I’m far from an expert in bus renovation, I’ve been encouraged to document the process through videos. These recordings serve both as a record of my journey and a way to invite support. I believe in working hard toward my goals rather than simply asking for help — but any support, whether through resources, encouragement, or financial contributions, is deeply appreciated as I continue building endurance and learning new skills.

Our Why

Why It Matters

This bus isn’t just about transportation — it’s about transformation. It’s a tool for learning, a story of God’s provision, and a way to model stewardship, diligence, and hope.

“Look out for the interests of others. The love we show one another because of Christ will show the world that He is true.”

— Philippians 2:4, paraphrased
